TPI and HCA originally announced the collaboration on the project that Kurt is supporting in April 2023. The program leverages the talents of a team of neurodiverse adults from TPI’s workforce to work in HCA Healthcare’s Information Technology Group (ITG).
During his interview for this story Kurt shares, "Yes, I'm autistic, I want to succeed, I want to be challenged, I want to contribute, and every day I prove I can." This is a sentiment shared across our workforce.
Partnerships with companies like HCA Healthcare, enable The Precisionists to implement our innovative neurodiversity employment model, which creates careers for individuals impacted by autism and other neurodiversities. Considering 80% of autistic adults in the U.S. are either unemployed or underemployed, we are making a true difference in engaging a significant, talented, untapped labor force. As Kurt also shared, "Nowadays, having a steady job, (I) feel confident, I'm actually succeeding when I was afraid I was going to fail."

The State of Arizona’s Department of Economic Security created this feature video, which brings to life the impact that its 3-year partnership with The Precisionists, and the employment opportunities this collaboration provides, is having on the careers of neurodiverse individuals, whose skills and talents had been previously underutilized or overlooked.
In February of 2019 Arizona Governor Doug Ducey announced the creation of an innovative program, known as the “Phoenix Precision Project (PPP),” with a vision to create employment opportunities for adults with autism in the Phoenix community. The PPP was developed as a collaborative effort which included Arizona Department of Economic Security (DES), Salt River Project (SRP), First Place®, and The Precisionists, whose mission is to create jobs for individuals impacted by autism and other diverse abilities.
The Arizona Department of Economic Security was one of the first organizations in Phoenix to partner with TPI on this initiative. At DES what began in late 2018 as pilot project comprised of a team of four TPI data analysts, providing support for the Centralized Data Services department, has grown today to dozens of TPI associates supporting multiple projects throughout Arizona DES’s Family Assistance Administration.

The Honorable Kate Gallego, Mayor of Phoenix and Mike Hummel, CEO of Salt River Project (SRP) joined the TPI Team for the ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the announcement.
Phoenix, AZ (May 4, 2021) – The Precisionists, Inc. (TPI), a Wilmington, Delaware-based company that creates jobs for individuals across a broad range of disabilities, announces the opening of its Innovation & Technology Center (ITC) in Phoenix, AZ. The announcement comes just two years after it announced its expansion to the market as a part of the “Phoenix Precision Project,” and further solidifies TPI’s commitment to provide jobs for hundreds of local adults with autism and other different abilities over the next three to five years. The ITC is located at 4646 Van Buren Street, Suite 185, Phoenix, AZ 85008.

PECO and TPI approach one year anniversary of this successful pilot project .
Wilmington, DE (April 19, 2021) – PECO, an energy utility company and part of the Exelon family of
operating companies is set to complete its first pilot program with The Precisionists (TPI), a Wilmington,
DE-based organization focused on employment for adults with disabilities. Approaching its one-year
anniversary, the program uses the talents of a team of autistic adults from TPI’s workforce to tackle
critical business needs within PECO Energy’s Customer Operations, Transmission & Substations, and
Support Services departments.

State of Delaware - Department of Finance and The Precisionists, Inc. Launch Autism at Work Employment Program
Wilmington, DE (September 28, 2020) –The State of Delaware Department of Finance recently began collaborating with The Precisionists (TPI), a Wilmington, Del.-based organization focused on employment for adults with disabilities. The pilot program, about to celebrate its first anniversary, uses the talents of a team of autistic adults from TPI’s workforce to tackle critical business needs within the Department of Finance’s Division of Revenue (DOR).

The Precisionists, Inc. (TPI) announces expansion to Phoenix, Arizona.
On Tuesday, February 5, 2019, Arizona Governor, Doug Ducey, Salt River Project (SRP), the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Phoenix Economic Council (GPEC), and First Place® AZ announced the creation of an innovative program, known as the “Phoenix Precision Project,” providing employment opportunities for adults with autism. The Precisionists, Inc. (TPI), an IT and Business Administrative Services company who has developed a world-class best practices model for employing people with developmental disabilities, with a focus on autism, will be making a major expansion to Phoenix, Arizona. The program will be implemented utilizing TPI’s innovative employment model.
The Phoenix Precision Project will provide jobs for hundreds of Arizonians with autism and other diverse abilities over the next three to five years.
Charter members of the Phoenix Precision Project will utilize The Precisionists’ innovative disability employment model in a number of areas of their businesses, including IT and administrative services. The first three organizations to participate are the State of Arizona Department of Economic Security, Salt River Project (SRP) and Mobile Mini.
This announcement supports Governor Ducey’s November 2017 Employment First State Executive Order, which expanded job opportunities for Arizonans with disabilities within state agencies, and raised awareness and interest in private companies in the community to hire people with disabilities.
