TPI and HCA originally announced the collaboration on the project that Kurt is supporting in April 2023. The program leverages the talents of a team of neurodiverse adults from TPI’s workforce to work in HCA Healthcare’s Information Technology Group (ITG).
During his interview for this story Kurt shares, “Yes, I’m autistic, I want to succeed, I want to be challenged, I want to contribute, and every day I prove I can.” This is a sentiment shared across our workforce.
Partnerships with companies like HCA Healthcare, enable The Precisionists to implement our innovative neurodiversity employment model, which creates careers for individuals impacted by autism and other neurodiversities. Considering 80% of autistic adults in the U.S. are either unemployed or underemployed, we are making a true difference in engaging a significant, talented, untapped labor force. As Kurt also shared, “Nowadays, having a steady job, (I) feel confident, I’m actually succeeding when I was afraid I was going to fail.”
