The Precisionists, Inc. (TPI) completed its first fundraising campaign for the Eagles Autism Challenge and participated in the inaugural event held on May 19, 2018 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. The event raised over $2.3 million and counting!
TPI is a proud Community Partner Sponsor for this event, which included over 3,300 participants and 370 teams from the Delaware Valley coming together to bike, run or walk, and raise money for autism. 100% of participant-raised funds will go to support autism research and programs at CHOP, Drexel University and Jefferson Health.
TPI’s sponsorship, along with the fundraising efforts of the Precisionists Team amounted to a combined contribution to the Eagles Autism Challenge over $21,000.
The Precisionist Team of 30 members, consisting of TPI associates and our family and friends, participated in the 5k walk. Two of our team members, Sam Levin and Jennifer Dianastasis, exceed their fundraising goals and raised over $1,000 each to support this event. TPI joined with two of our corporate partners, Pepco Holdings, Inc. (PHI) and Vertex, Inc. in this fundraising initiative. Special thanks to TPI’s Julie Nelson and PHI’s Tracy Orledge, who organized several fundraisers at the PHI sites, helping our team members reach their required fundraising minimums.
Today 1 in 59 children are identified with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The Philadelphia Eagles organized a world-class event, which raised awareness and fundraising dollars to support research and programs to help those on the autism spectrum. As a leading company creating career opportunities for individuals with autism and other diverse abilities, The Precisionists was honored to take part is in this amazing event.
